The safety and wellbeing of our customers and staff is, and always has been our highest priority. Participating in an adventure experience is an important part of enjoying life, but we know there is still some concern about Coronavirus.
Our new Fly Well, Fly Safe program brings together a number of temporary and existing wellbeing measures to give you peace-of-mind at each point of your journey with us.

As part of Fly Well, Fly Safe we’ve introduced a number of key measures prior to your balloon flight to limit the contact that you may have with others.
SYMPTOMS
If you are suffering Covid symptoms you will not be allowed to fly and you will need to contact our office immediately on 1300 555 711 to reschedule your flight.

As per Government health rules all persons are required to wear masks during their balloon activity
VACCINATIONS
All passengers must be fully vaccinated to participate in balloon activities.
SANITATION
When you arrive at the meeting point you will be directed to the washrooms to wash your hands and you must maintain social distancing between groups whilst waiting for transport to the launch site.
Hand sanitising stations are available as well as enhanced disinfection of surfaces at our meeting point.
Transportation to the balloon launch site
Commercial tourism industry has an exemption from the current social distancing rules, however where possible we ask you to continue to use Covid safe hygiene methods to remain safe.

Stay in your group and remain as far away from other persons as physically possible
Enhanced vehicle cleaning is carried out at the completion of every fight
Masks must be worn at all time.
On board the Balloon
Our Fly Well, Fly Safe program continues onboard where we’ve introduced additional measures while the risk of inflight transmission remains extremely low.
The basket is open to the fresh air which means you are in an extremely low risk environment.
Follow any hygiene protocols given by the crew.
Masks must be worn at all times throughout your experience.
The configuration of several of our aircraft means there is often a for a physical barrier between groups. However you will be asked to face outwards during the flight and away from other persons to minimise the chances of infection.
Enhanced cleaning of our balloon with a disinfectant is effective against coronaviruses, with a focus on high contact areas.
What you can do to stay healthy
The most important thing to avoid catching any virus, be it coronavirus, the flu or the common cold, wear a mask, wash your hands and avoid touching your face.

What to do if you're feeling unwell
If you have flu-like symptoms, you should seek medical advice. Symptoms include:
Fever, fatigue or aches;
Runny nose, cough or sore throat;
Shortness of breath.
